MOSCOW. - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan, who is on working visit in
Moscow, participated on Wednesday in the Collective Security Council
session of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO).
Touching upon South Caucasus regional challenges, the Armenian
President emphasized that Azerbaijani destructive approach for the
Artsakh [Nagorno-Karabakh] peace process continues to be a serious
challenge to the regional security, presidential press service informs.
Azerbaijani advocacy breeds a whole generation with nationalism and
intolerance. As a matter of fact, killing an Armenian is no longer
a crime in Azerbaijan, added Sargsyan.
To note, an Azeri killer Ramil Safarov, a lieutenant in the Azerbaijani
military, was extradited on August 31 from Hungary, where he was
serving a life sentence - and with no expression of either regret
or remorse - for the premeditated axe murder of Armenian lieutenant
Gurgen Margaryan, in his sleep, during a NATO Partnership for Peace
program in Budapest back in 2004.
