CERVICAL CANCER POSSIBLE TO PREVENT ON TIME - ARMENIAN EXPERT

On December 19, during the press conference the Director of the
"Armenian-American Health Center" Khachanush Hakobyan said that for
the implementation of the normal radiation therapy the statesmanship
and enormous financial resources are required.
"Our government has begun to worry about it, and soon in the Institute
of Physics all the equipment necessary for the treatment of cancer
will be installed," she said.
Another participant of the press conference, the head of the Department
of Gynecology of "Armenian-American Health Center" Marina Voskanyan
noted the signs of cervical cancer development. In particular, she
noted that the disease cannot be discovered by self-inquiry.
"Women should not wait for any symptoms. They should take an
appropriate medical examination every year," Voskanyan said.
According to her, cervical cancer may be prevented on time. With
proper diagnosis and surgery the inflamed part of the uterus can be
completely eliminated.
"After the treatment, women, without any complications can give birth
to perfectly healthy children," Marina Voskanyan concluded.
