Chairman of the Public Council Vazgen Manukyan
Yerevan/Mediamax/. Chairman of the Public Council Vazgen Manukyan
said today that "the Armenian civil society is actively developing".
According to Vazgen Manukyan, struggle for saving the Trchkan
preserve and Mashtots park in Yerevan as well as indignation wave on
the incident in "Harsnakar" restaurant became vivid examples of the
activity of the civil society.
"The society with its pressure managed to solve many issues", said
Vazgen Manukyan,
Chairman of the Public Council noted that integration to the
European structures, high level of youth development as well as
"certain tolerance of the authorities" contribute to the civil
society development.
