ARFD to get carte blanche after presidential vote - paper

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to Hraparak daily, ARF Dashnaktsutyun
supreme assembly hosted a meeting Wednesday, December 16.
`Those present insisted on nominating own presidential candidate.
However, following Hrant Margaryan's statement that joining the race
only to lose will make no sense, with 4-5% of votes gained to serve no
purpose, the party members gave in,' the daily said.
Margaryan's position was supported by 48 ARFD members out of 80.
`After the elections, ARFD will get a carte blanche in many issues and
official seats.
