TURKISH PM THANKS FRENCH SENATORS WHO OPPOSE GENOCIDE BILL

Turkey's PM Recep Tayyip Erdogan commented on the French Constitutional
Council's acceptance of the appeal submitted by the French senators
who oppose the bill that criminalizes the denial of genocides,
including the Armenian Genocide.
Turkish PM expressed a deep gratitude, on his behalf and on behalf of
the people of Turkey, to those French senators who have signed this
appeal so that the bill could be forwarded to Constitutional Council.
"This was fitting for the French politicians. I believe they did
everything necessary," Erdogan said, Haberler news agency of Turkey
informs.
To note, the French Constitutional Council accepted, on Tuesday,
the aforesaid appeal which was signed by 72 French senators.
