YEREVAN. - The ruling coalition's Republican Party of Armenia
(RPA) MP Vardan Ayvazyan was persuaded not to be nominated in RPA's
majority election list for the upcoming parliamentary elections, and
it is highly probable that he will continue his activities in the
government. Working in the executive branch of power inspires the
current MP more, Yerkir daily writes, referring to the information
it has received.
"Ayvazyan informed that he has not yet made a final decision in
connection with running in Charentsavan [city's] Election District,
since it is up to the Party to decide. But he advises not to make
assumptions. Ayvazyan also did not wish to speak about his inclusion
in RPA's proportional [election] list, and noted that this, too,
is up to the Party to decide," Yerkir writes.
