ARMENIAN OPPOSITION ADOPTED POLICY OF DEFEAT - RULING MP

YEREVAN. - Voters' participation in Armenia's Spitak mayoral election
was high (53-54%), in case when the only candidate was the acting
Mayor, ruling Republican Party (RPA) MP Hovhannes Sahakyan told the
journalists on Monday.
According to him, voters are active as they vote for the one whom
they trust.
"If opposition does not share this, let it participate in the elections
and prove the contrary," he said adding the opposition has adopted
a policy of defeat, which will likely to repeat in the upcoming
parliamentary elections.
To note, the only candidate for the Spitak city Mayor's elections
was the acting Mayor.
