MAJOR COMPANIES REDUCE IMPORT VOLUME AHEAD OF 2012

YEREVAN. - Over 440 Armenian major companies exported goods amounting
to $82.5 million and imported amounting to $219 million over last
year, State Revenue Committee at the Government informs Armenian
News-NEWS.am.
A total of 67% of the entire export and 54.5 % of the import fell on
440 major companies last December.
According to the Committee's report, import volume of major companies
decreased by 6.5% last December as compared to the same period in
2010, which may be conditioned by increase in the share of medium
and small-sized business.
