An apparent glitch in Google's translation service caused furor among
Armenian Internet users over the weekend, Armenian Weekly reported.
Google translated the Armenian sentence "I love Armenians" ("ÔµÕ½
Õ½Õ"O~@Õ¸O~BÕ´ Õ¥Õ´ Õ°Õ¡ÕµÕ¥O~@Õ"Õ¶") into "I love Turkey" for
unspecified reasons.
The mistranslation was brought to attention by a Lebanese-Armenian
activist, Serouj Baghdassarian, Armenian Weekly reported Feb. 18.
The translation issue was corrected Feb. 19, the report said.
