The Azeri Defense Ministry started exercises in the pre-front zone
on Monday, the ministry told Interfax.
"Army and Air Force units are taking part in the exercises under the
command of Defense Minister Safar Abiyev," it said.
The exercises will last until the end of the week and involve the
newest armaments and military hardware.
