WE MUST BE ABLE TO GET SECURITY GUARANTEES FROM EU - EXPERT

The main reason for passing the Armenian Genocide bill by France is to
put obstacles in the way of Turkey's accession to the European Union,
political expert Levon Shirinyan told a news conference in Yerevan.
"Whether or not Turkey should be accessed to the European Union -
that is the issue under consideration. We must be able to get security
guarantees from EU. I think the friends of Armenia must add provisions
on receiving security guarantees from EU and on progress in the
Karabakh problem. If France and Germany are very anxious, it means
they will take steps towards the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh
conflict," said the expert.
