Head of the Assembly of Armenians of Azerbaijan Grigory Ayvazyan
presented new discoveries concerning the 1990 Baku massacre today
during the press conference and noted that massacres of Baku, Sumgayit
and Kirovabat were rings of the same chain.
"Armenian massacres of Baku were precedent with the fact that people
were defamessly tortured during 1 full week", said Ayvazyan and
noted gave the names of people who were among the organizers of the
mass slaughter, "Khalil Ouza, Neyma Panatov, Abdurahmad Vezirov,
and Aboulfas Elchibey".
He also informed that there had been a cultivated project which
consisted of two parts: first was that Armenians had to be deported
from Azerbaijan and second that Artsakh had to be cleaned from
Armenians.
"The project neither was nor realized as the crowd that was torturing
Armenians got out of hands and anti-Armenian provocation turned into
anti-Soviet and anti-Russia one: said Ayvazyan and added that one of
the reasons was that the Soviet army arrived 6 days later.
