WAR AGAINST IRAN NOT BENEFICIAL FOR OBAMA

Until there is election year in the U.S. this country will refrain
from war against Iran, said historian, candidate of History, Gohar
Iskandaryan.
At the same time, she noted the U.S. Republicans have numerously
noted that in case they are elected, they will launch hostilities
against Iran.
She says that Obama will not benefit from war against Iran because it
could lead to unpredictable consequences. If the Strait of Hormuz is
closed, it will be opened by force, says the historian and expresses
doubt that the actions will grow into long-lasting hostilities. She
thinks there will be a little tension. No war will take place until
the end of the election period in the U.S., thinks Gohar Iskandaryan.
According to her, if Iran closes the Strait of Hormuz, a great global
crisis will start since the 40% of the world oil passes through that
strait and in the result of the closure of the strait oil prices will
immediately increase.
Gohar Iskandaryan thinks that the war against Iran will harm also
Armenia, there will be a huge flow of refugees to Armenia and Armenian
settlements will be harmed in Iran.
According to the historian, Iran does not try to have nuclear
weapon in this phase, but it just tries to get skilled and acquire
relevant knowledge. Their aim, according to the historian, is to
reach scientific achievements. And as soon as they reach the red
line, no one will harm them anymore. In case of hits against Iran,
the whole region will suffer, which will not be useful to anyone.
According to Gohar Iskandaryan, Israel is to blame for the existing
situation because this country provokes the U.S. to set strict
sanctions against Iran.
