The spokesperson of Armenia's Foreign Ministry, Tigran Balayan,
denies the recent reports on secret high-level talks between Armenia
and Turkey in late December.
Speaking to Tert.am, Balayan said such information is untrue.
"No Armenian-Turkish dialogue was held in that period," he said.
Citing "well-informed" sources, the local daily Hayatsk said earlier
today that the state delegations of Armenia and Turkey conducted
secret talks between 4 to 24 December.
"The delegations first met in Tbilisi, and after ten in the Georgian
capital they continued the talks in Europe", the paper claimed.
