'TURKEY AND GERMANY SHOULD TAKE ACTION TO REMOVE FRANCE FROM CO-CHAIRMANSHIP'

    News.Az
    Thu 19 January 2012

Today the OSCE Minsk group doesn't consist of just three countries.

If the French Senate adopts the bill criminalizing the denial of
genocides including so called 'Armenia genocide' as did its National
Assembly, the unbiased position the OSCE Minks Group's co-chair
    countries will fall into suspicion.

The statement came from MP Fuad Muradov stated, Gun.Az reported.

According to the MP, several years ago, the French Parliament
recognized the so called 'genocide of Armenians', which seriously
damaged the country's ascendancy and impartiality as one of the
co-chair countries operating to peacefully resolve the Karabakh
    conflict.

"If the Senate of this country passed another wrong and unjust
decision, it will totally destroy its mission as a mediator to resolve
    the Karabakh conflict peacefully".

Muradov thinks that if this happens, no one will believe in the
impartiality of this state in any issues and decisions and the
country's removal from the co-chairmanship of the Minsk group can
and will come on to agenda.

"Today the OSCE Minsk group doesn't consist of just three countries.

It has 11 countries including Germany and Turkey. So, I think that
these two countries should be the first ones to take action to replace
France and remove it from the co-chairmanship".
