PanARMENIAN.Net - Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) allocated over
$80 million to Armenia's economy from 2010 on, with plans to extend
presence in the country, according to EDB board member.
"Despite crisis situation at world markets and general unavailability
of capital, EDB, as a development bank, deems it necessary to expand
investments in the face of odds," Dmitry Zhurba explained.
Dwelling on global economy downscale, Zhurba noted that export-oriented
countries are better able to cope the crisis.
