Turkish media outlets (Milliyet, CnnTurk, Internethaber) are alarmed
as Germany may be following France to take an initiative panelizing
the denial of Armenian Genocide.
Erica Shteynbuk, spokeswoman of German Chancellor Angela Merkel rules
coalition government human rights parliamentary faction, has said
such an initiative may be taken, although the German opposition may
boycott it.
"Coalition members think even if Turkey denies facts, obviously
Genocide did happen. Armenian Genocide issue must always be kept in
our agenda. Turkey should be responsible. Turkey's ruling authorities
haven't done it, hence they can accept it," German MP said.
