ARMENIA NEGOTIATES WITH GERMAN AND DUTCH COMPANIES ON SOLAR POWER

YEREVAN.- Armenia is holding talks with German and Dutch companies
to develop solar power, head of Armenian Development Agency Robert
Harutunyan told the journalists on Tuesday.
"Last year Armenia jointly with one of the Dutch companies developed
a project of solar water heaters. We will start promotion of the
project in 2012," he said.
At the moment an investment program is being prepared due to which
efficiency of generating solar power can increase by 45%.
"As to investments, we are holding talks with a German company and
plan to achieve results in the first half of 2012," he added.
