Baku - APA. Member of the French Senate Nathalie Goulet says the
Senate will more likely to pass the bill outlawing the denial of the
"Armenian genocide", APA reports quoting Anadolu agency.
Nathalie Goulet said together with other senators and parliamentarians
opposing the bill she will appeal to the Constitutional Court.
"We are going to collect the signatures of at least 60 parliamentarians
and senators and appeal to the Constitutional Court for the abolition
of the bill. We believe we will find 60 brave French politicians,"
she said.
Nathalie Goulet said parliaments should not pass decisions on
historical events. According to her, Turks and Armenians should solve
this problem themselves.
