UNPRECEDENTED CONCERT DEDICATED TO THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE ARMENIAN ARMY

YEREVAN, JANUARY 25, ARMENPRESS: A number of servicemen are visiting
schools and universities on the occasion of 20th anniversary of
formation of the Armenian army. Spokesperson for the Armenian Defense
Minister Davit Karapetyan told Armenpress visits to different military
units are also expected. "The Defense Ministry has prepared surprises,
concerts will be conducted in military units and provincial centers,
tens of events are envisaged. January 27 an unprecedented event
will be conducted in Karen Demirtchyan sport and concert complex,"
Karapetyan said. He said a small military parade will be held during
the concert. January 28 the leadership of the Armed Forces will visit
Yerablur to put flowers on the tombs of freedom fighters killed during
the Artsakh liberation war. The spokesperson also said servicemen
contributed to the formation of the army will be awarded at the event
organized in the Defense Ministry.
