Telephone cable robbers detained in Armenia

YEREVAN. - Back in June, 2011 police received a call saying that
8,000 m telephone cable was stolen from Shorzha-Vardenis railroad
belonging to the South-Caucasus railway LLC.
Police clarified that Hamlet Hovsepyan, 37, Sevan city resident, had
robbed the cable, police press service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The investigation of the criminal case was resumed.
Another telephone cable robbery case happened in Etchmiadzin on Jan.
16 this year. The cable belonged to ArmenTel mobile operator. Police
detained previously convicted Mushegh Piliposyan, 33, and Mushegh
Sahakyan, 24 on Friday. An investigation is underway.
