ARMENIAN COMMEMORATIVE COINS RECEIVE AWARDS IN MOSCOW

YEREVAN. - The "Cross-stones of Armenia" silver commemorative coin
series and the "2,200th Anniversary of the Founding of Artashat"
gold commemorative coin, which were issued by the Central Bank of
Armenia in 2011, received awards at the "Constellation of Coins 2012"
international commemorative coin contest held in Moscow on June 14.
A total of 42 organizations from 29 countries took part in the
competition, the Bank's press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Over 250 commemorative coins and 28 commemorative coin collections
issued in 2011 were presented in the contest.
And the winners were decided by a panel of judges comprising forty
specialists.
