ARAM MANUKYAN PREDICTS ESCALATION OF TENSION IN THE REGION

Regional processes will intensify in the fall, Armenian National
Movement (ANM) Board Chair Aram Manukyan told a press conference today,
adding that he means all of the following: the Armeniaan-Turkish
normalization, the Karabakh issue, also as the turmoil in Iran,
Syria and Turkey.
According to him, the tension in the region will escalate, and Armenia
will naturally not manage to escape the processes.
As for the forthcoming presidential elections, Aram Manukyan said
"speaking about a united opposition candidate is still untimely."
"We have no reason to think in that direction, as we have a leader.
However, the political forces will make their final decision in
the fall," Secretary of the Armenian National Congress faction Aram
Manukyan said.
