Yerevan Prospects Festival will become a guest of European festivals.
Director of the Yerevan Prospects Festival Stepan Rostomyan told
ArmInfo's correspondent that the negotiations are being held with the
international festivals of Berlin, London and Edinburgh. It is
noteworthy that the honorary chairman of the International Edinburgh
Festival is Valery Gergiev. To recall, last autumn the Mariinsky
Theatre conducted by Gergiev gave a concert on the margins of the
Yerevan Prospects Festival.
Rostomyan said that the participation of the Yerevan Prospects in the
European festivals is a good chance to present the works of Armenian
composers and musicians on the best stages of Europe. He does not rule
out that the "the festival in festival" may develop into the Days of
Armenian Culture.
