Armenian regions and Iranian states may cooperate more closely

YEREVAN, JULY 4, ARMENPRESS: Vice Prime Minister of Armenia, Minister
of Territorial Administration Armen Gevorgyan on July 4 hosted newly
appointed ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Iran to
Armenia Mohammad Raiesi. Armenpress was informed from public relations
department of Territorial administration ministry that the Vice Prime
Minister congratulated the newly appointed ambassador on occasion of
holding the diplomatic mission and wished successes in responsible
work. He mentioned that lately Armenian-Iranian relations have
developed dynamically in various fields.
Reverberating to the international cooperation the Vice Prime Minister
noticed that Armenian some regions and Iranian states cooperate
successfully but those relations have strong potential of development.
The ambassador assured that he would his best to make closer Armenia
and Iran. Agreeing that inter-regional cooperation is a good prospect
and has great potential he informed that at present works are done to
study which Iranian states have similarities with Armenian regions in
order to expand the range of cooperation.
The interlocutors discussed issues concerning the coming visit of
Internal affairs minister of Iran to Armenia.
