At the moment, hundreds of citizens are protesting in front of the
National Assembly. They are holding up posters 'The society won't stop
pressure', 'You will not digest the blood', 'Fair investigation', etc.
They demand to name Ruben Hairapetyan as a suspect; to involve all the
persons related to the June 17 crime, to dismiss Ruben Hairapetyan
from the position of president of the Football Federation of Armenia.
The protesters say they won't keep silent only because Ruben
Hairapetyan resigned since there is the precedent of Gagik Beglaryan
who resigned from the post of mayor but was later appointed as
minister of transport and communication.
Yesterday Ruben Hairapetyan resigned from parliament due to the
incident of June 17 in Harsnakar restaurant where his bodyguards beat
up military doctors, killing one of them.
