PanARMENIAN.Net - The program for the overthrow of ruling regime in
Arab world proved difficult to implement in Syria, a Turkish Studies
expert said.
At news conference in Yerevan, Ruben Melkonyan cited wide support
Syria regime enjoys beyond the country behind the program failure.
`This is what makes Syria and Iran different from all the other
countries in the region,' the expert said.
`Syria-Iran union, supported by Moscow, and partially, Beijing plays a
decisive role in foreign policy sector,' Melkonyan noted.
`Superpowers put a serious bet on Ankara in allowing it to show
maximum of activity in the region,' the expert concluded.
