Turkey has always protected Azerbaijani interests in the
international arena, Azerbaijani MP Aydin Mirzazade told the ruling
party's official website today.
He said signing between the two countries of an agreement on TANAP is
another indicator of the unity and solidarity. Azerbaijan and Turkey
will play an important role in ensuring Europe's energy security.
"Relations between Azerbaijan and Turkey are developing. Undoubtedly,
the statement made by Recep Tayyip Erdogan during the signing of the
agreement once again confirms this fact," he said
The MP said the historical political experience and current realities
indicate that Turkey will not take any unplanned steps on issues
related to the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the
restoration of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Turkey. This,
in turn, gives reason to say that serious efforts of Azerbaijan and
Turkey, aimed at resolving the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict will be
intensified.
