Yerevan dairy factory blast survivor has not yet regained full consciousness

YEREVAN. - E. Ghazaryan, who sustained injuries as a result of an
explosion at Marianna Dairy Factory, is in stable but critical
condition, the hospital told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Ghazaryan has not yet regained full consciousness, is in a coma, and
is hooked up to a respirator.
`[Ghazaryan] senses some things, understands some things, but it is
too early to tell when [Ghazaryan] will be transferred to a ward,' the
hospital also informed.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, a blast occurred at
Marianna Dairy Factory in Armenia's capital, Yerevan.
The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received a call, on June 7
at 8:35am, informing that there was an explosion at the Factory and
one person had sustained injuries, MES informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
An operative team was dispatched to the scene.
As a result of the blast, E. Ghazaryan, 55, was injured and
transferred to hospital.
A criminal case was opened on charges of violating the labor protection rules.
The National Center for Technical Safety conducted an examination to
determine the cause of the blast, and the results were sent to the
Police.
