Recently, a group of journalists travelled to military units in Artsakh
under an agreement brokered between the Investigative Journalists
NGO and the Artsakh Ministry of Defense.
There, reporters had a chance to converse with soldiers and officers
on the frontlines.
Afterwards, they met with Artsakh Defense Minister Lieutenant General
Movses Hakobyan. The group spent the better part of an evening around
a campfire and DM Hakobyan expressed his views on a number of topics
and answered questions.
He categorically stated that a retreat of Armenian forces from the
frontlines would be followed by the outbreak of war.
