Yesterday evening, RPA member Ruben Hairapetyan knocked down human
rights activist, member of Helsinki Association, Arman Veziryan.
Chairman of the Helsinki Association Mikayel Danielyan, in a
conversation with Lragir.am, condemned the incident noting that this
is a systemic issue. The system is a military police criminal state
so it couldn't be otherwise.
According to the human rights activist, all the oligarchs use force
in Armenia, and the press needs to write about it recalling all the
oligarchs and their bodyguards who beat people.
According to Mikayel Danielyan, Ruben Hairapetyan apologized to Arman
Veziryan saying he was in a nervous state.
The human rights defender also noted that the police are obligated
to launch criminal proceedings into this case.
"The president has signed a new plan of reforms, let the authorities
think if these reforms are fulfilled", noted Mikayel Danielyan.
