The OSCE Minsk Group acts with the full consent of the parties to
the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and is making active efforts to find
a peaceful solution, Ambassador of France to Armenia Henri Reynaud
told journalists on Wednesday.
He said that the European Union also wants the conflict to be resolved
peacefully and wants to see Armenia as a regional crossroads and
center of dialogues.
He noted that if the conflicts in the South Caucasus are resolved, the
EU's projects in the region, particularly, its association agreement
with Armenia, will be effective.
Reynaud said that in the framework of the Armenia-EU association
agreement Armenia and France are negotiating to ease visa restrictions
for students, scientists and businessmen.
