A civic group battling to keep the resort town of Jermouk from turning
into a mining zone has called on the Minister of Nature Protection
to respond to the public petition it made in June.
The group, "Save Jermouk from Becoming a Mine" had demanded that the
town be classified as an "impacted community" due to its proximity
to the Amoulsar gold mine.
The group, in its letter to the minister, added that it would pay
for any copying costs related to the matter.
