SYRIAN DIRECTOR SCREENED A TRILINGUAL FILM ON SYRIAN ARMENIANS AND ARMENIAN GENOCIDE

YEREVAN, JULY 13, ARMENPRESS: Film director Firas Nana finished
'~RThe Icon of Holy Spirit'~R documentary film, depicting the life of
Syrian Armenians, featuring it as a component of the Syrian society,
Armenpress reports citing SANA news agency.
The goal was to inform about 1915 Armenian Genocide .The film tells how
the Genocide survivors got shelter and integrated in Syrian society,
how they moved to Aleppo and stopped at Hogetun on their to Jerusalem.
The film screening on the whole lasted for 5 days. At the course
of such a short period the director tried to comprise everything,
what he had planned to tell about Armenians, and as result had a
substantial plot product.
The film music composer is Armenian composer Perch Asyan. The film
is screened in three languages Armenian, Arabic and English.
