A green activist, a member of the "Trchkan" initiative, Gor
Hovannisyan, has sent an open letter to Armenia's Nature Protection
Minister, Aram Harutyunyan, because of the forest devastation in
Ijevan and Dilijan.
Green activists were witnesses of the mass cutting of trees using
special equipment. When the activists tried to photo the event,
their cameras were taken away and all the photos wiped off.
