The Hraparak writes that the chair of the Russian Federal Council to
Armenia Valentina Matviyenko, during the dinner in her honor attended
by the NA Speaker, his deputies, heads of NA standing committees,
as well as the ex-consul to St. Petersburg and the vice-president of
Heritage Party Ruben Hakobyan, delivered quite an interesting message
relating to Karabakh. "Everyone in the world understands that Karabakh
can't be returned to Azerbaijan any more but today there are no such
figures in Azerbaijan who would be able to speak about this."
It is clear that this idea of one of the main actors of the Putin
"dynasty" makes sense in terms of Russia's attitude towards Armenia
against the background of the OSCE CiO and Minsk Group co-chairs'
visit to the region.
Apparently, Russia understands that along with gas price and
"inventory" of the airport it is also necessary to win over the
Armenians with such statements because the status quo may change in
the region at every moment, the paper runs.
