4 MEN ARE RESCUED FROM ARMENIAN CANAL

YEREVAN. - Armenia's Emergency Situations Ministry received a call,
on Saturday at 9:15am, informing that people had fell into the canal
that feeds the Arpa Thermal Power Plant of Vayots Dzor Region's Arpi
village, and that assistance was needed.
A regional rescue squad was dispatched to the scene, the Ministry
informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
And with the help of local residents, the rescuers removed Ararat
Region residents Husik Baveyan, 46, Hakob Baveyan, 22, Narek Margaryan,
22, and Andranik Torosyan, 22, from the water.
They were transferred to Yeghegnadzor city hospital.
Doctors say three of them are in average critical condition, but
Narek Margaryan's condition is critical.
