SERGEY MINASYAN: BAKU WILL HAVE TO ACCEPT LAUNCH OF STEPANAKERT AIRPORT

"After the Co-Chairs of the OSCE Minsk Group declared that MG does
not object to the launch of Stepanakert Airport, it is clear that
Baku could not continue to make such statements. It means that Baku
will have to accept the launch of Stepanakert Airport," political
scientist, Deputy Director of the Caucasus Institute Sergey Minasyan
told Panorama.am, when asked to comment on the change in Baku's
rhetoric about Stepanakert Airport.
"On the other hand, with NKR's Air Force strong and comparable with
Armenia's Air Defense Force, I am not convinced that Azerbaijan will
take any measures to bomb Stepanakert Airport, because the response
of NKR's Air Defense Force would be adequate," the expert said.
