ARMENIA ATTACHES IMPORTANCE TO STRENGTHENING RELATIONS WITH CANADA: FM

YEREVAN, JULY 17, ARMENPRESS: Minister of Foreign Affairs of the
Republic of Armenia Edward Nalbandyan received members of Canada
House of Commons, Canada-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group Vice
Presidents Alexander Bulrisis and Jim Karajanisy.
As information and public relations department of the Ministry
briefed Armenpress, welcoming the quests Nalbandyan stated progress
has been recorded during the recent years pertain to various fields
of cooeration with Canada.The Minister added Armenia attaches great
importance to strengthening and deepening of multilateral relationships
with Canada.
Armenian Foreign Ministry head high estimated parliamentary diplomacy
as an important format for the development of relations between states
and welcomed the efforts of Canadian parliamentarians activities
exerted for the repair of already established relations.
Minister Nalbandyan also emphasized participation of Canadian MPs as
observers in the upcoming elections due to take place in Artsakh which
in accordance with FM head will enable a chance to get acquainted with
the events and precept an unbiased picture concerning the electoral
processes and their compliance with international standards.
The interlocutors touched upon a number of regional l issues.
