120 ARMENIANS SUFFERED FROM FLOOD IN RUSSIAN KUBAN

Currently the lists of Armenians who suffered from the flooding in
Russian Kuban are being clarified and updated, the representative of
the Union of the Armenians in Russia Vazgen Nersisyan told Armenian
News-NEWS.am.
According to him, there are more than 120 Armenians in the lists and
humanitarian aid continues to arrive from different regions of Russia.
He also reported that 5 Armenians died as a result of the flood while
the lists show seven Armenians, including: Susanna Buyukyan (born in
1968), Zaven Davtyan (born in 1968), Iulitta Kapustyan (born 1919),
Tatiana Medolyan (born 1936), Hovhannes Shahbazyan (born in 1929),
Lydia Shahbazyan (born in 1935), and Tevos Davtyan (1947).
The July 7 flood inundated close to 7,200 homes in the Russian
Krasnodar region, three cities and several villages.
