SUSPICIOUS PRODUCTS REVEALED IN ARMENIA'S VANADZOR (PHOTO, VIDEO)

VANADZOR. - The members of State Commission for Protection of Economic
Competition of Armenia has visited Vanadzor city on Tuesday, made a
tour in major shops of the city aiming to get familiarized with the
problems and trying to solve them.
The employees of the Commission did shopping to check properness of
products to their price and quality. In one of such checking, they
revealed butter with high price and low quality.
Among other faults, which the employees found, were dairy products,
eggs and meat, which lacked of production and expiration dates.
The Commission head Artak Shaboyan claimed that they do not receive
complaints from regions, while main complains are received from
Yerevan.
Records on revealed violations will be followed by analyses and
outcome will be made public.
At the same time, the Vanadzor residents wish the checking to be held
every month to control all the products.
