HIS HOLINESS KAREKIN II DEPARTS FOR ITALY FOR A PONTIFICAL VISITS

On 24 July His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos
of All Armenians, departed for Italy on a Pontifical visit.
During the visit, His Holiness will be meeting with philanthropists
of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin to discuss the implementation
and progress of projects they have undertaken at the Mother See.
On 10 August, 2012 the Catholicos of All Armenians will pay a
Pontifical visit to the Armenian Diocese of Romania, where His Holiness
will preside over the re-consecration ceremony of the Hachkatar Holy
Mother of God Church in Suceava, Romania and celebrations of their
500th anniversary.
