NARYSHKIN EXPECTS POSITIVE CHANGES IN NK CONFLICT SETTLEMENT PROCESS

YEREVAN, JULY 24, ARMENPRESS: the delegation headed by the Chairman
of the State Duma of Russian Federation Sergey Naryshkin on July 24
visited National Academy of sciences of Armenia. Armenpress reports
that the Chairman of the State Duma in his opening speech reverberated
to the process of peaceful settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict
mentioning that the aim of Russia is the final and peaceful settlement
of the conflict.
"We hope that in future there will be positive changes in negotiating
process of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement. Russia will continue
its mediation for peaceful solution and solution which will be
acceptable for both sides" he said.
Naryshkin also mentioned that this year expire the 20th anniversary
of establishment of diplomatic relations between Russian Federation
and the Republic of Armenia during which more than 110 000 agreements
have been signed. "During centuries Armenian-Russian relations have
been an example of friendship" said Naryshkin.
