A NEW PENALTY BILL ON THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE DENIAL TO PASS BY THE SENATE VOTE

Yerevan, July 26.ARMENPRESS: The Minister of Diaspora Hranush Hakobyan
highly appreciates the efforts of the French Armenians, especially
the French Senate deputies for putting the Armenian Genocide denial
penalty bill to the Senate. As "Armenpress" reports, Hranush Hakobyan
stated this during the meeting with the Armenian Deputy Mayor of
Marseille Didier Parakyan on July 26.
The minister stressed the importance of the French president's
willingness to stay true to his pro-electoral promise, expressing
hope that in the near future the new penalty bill on the Armenian
Genocide denial will be put in the Senate voting.
Deputy Mayor of Marseille Didier Parakyan thanked Minister Hakobyan
for the preservation of the Armenian identity, distinguishing the
"Come Home" program, through which hundreds of French Armenian
juniors recognize and love their fatherland, getting more attached
to their country.
