INTERNATIONAL CIRCUS FESTIVAL IS SCHEDULED TO BE HELD IN YEREVAN: SERIES OF PHOTOS

YEREVAN, MAY 31, ARMENPRESS: Yerevan State circus currently is
under repair, whereas the students of the school-studio after Leonid
Yengibaryan are going on with their daily classes.
Armenpress reporter had a briefing with the artistic director of
Yerevan State Circus Sos Petrosyan. The interlocutor noted that
the school-studio had hired a space and by its mobile performances
continues to cheer up the public, by the time the main building will
be ready.
The artistic director told the staff is already staging the show
which will be demonstrated to the audience in the inauguration of
the renovated circus building. The building is set to be modern,
in a accordance with the international standards. In the words of
Paertosyan the negotiations are already underway for organizing
international circus festival in Yerevan in 2014.
Renovation works of the circus kicked off in 2011 August 1 and are
scheduled to end 2012 October. Moscow based Vahagn Vermishyan and
Ashot Avetisyan are the chief architectures.
