GIRO MANOYAN: OIL BLESSING TO TURN INTO CURSE FOR AZERBAIJAN

Advancement for peaceful settlement of NK conflict in the short-term
perspectives is not realistic, head of ARF Armenian Cause and political
affairs office Giro Manoyan said remarking on regional processes.
"Today, everybody, including the international community understands
the main reason failing the conflict settlement is Azerbaijan. It
turns out that the international community lacks signals to influence
on Azerbaijan."
Mr Manoyan said the OSCE Minsk Group co-chairs also share that view,
hence they are undertaking efforts to neutralize war risk.
However, the ARF representative said war risk cannot be completely
excluded. "Azerbaijan is not sure they can win the war, they are not
ready to it, but still war risk cannot be excluded. At the same time
if war resumes oil blessing will turn into curse for them, as oil
likes peace."
