ARMENIAN 3 CHESS PLAYERS ARE AMONG 4 LEADERS OF ALBENA TOURNAMENT

YEREVAN, JUNE 1, ARMENPRESS: 3 representatives of Armenia grandmasters
Hrant Melkumyan and Vladimir Hakobyan as well as Hovhannes Gabuzyan
gaining 5 points with Bulgarian grandmaster Ivan Cheparinov share 1-4
positions in international chess tournament which goes on in Bulgarian
city Albena. Armenpress was informed about this from Armenian chess
federation.
Melkumyan in 6th round played draw in white figures with Bulgarian Ivan
Spasov and continues to lead by extra indicators. Hakobyan defeated
grandmaster Karen Grigoryan and Hovhaness Gabuzyan defeated Israeli
Tamir Nabathi.
