YEREVAN, JUNE 5, 2012: Armenian boxing federation is intended to
hold International Tournaments in 2013." The tournament after Gagik
Tsarukyan and the memorial tournament after Edward Aristakesyan will
be organized within the tournaments " Armenian Boxing Federation
chief secretary Levon Hovhannisyan briefed Armenpress.
The interlocutor noted it would be best to have all age categories
in the frame of the tournament.
Hovhannisyan stated that only Armenian National Boxing Team sportsmen
participate in official international tournaments; whereas 30-40
Armenian boxers can partake in these tournaments, which will enable
the sportsmen get experienced in international championships, this
time held in their own state.
