YEREVAN.- Armenian Foreign Ministry neither confirmed nor refuted
reports on likelihood of Minister Edward Nalbandian's participation
in the upcoming meeting of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC).
"Armenia's Foreign Ministry always receives invitations to BSEC
meetings as a founder state and a full member of the organization,"
Spokesperson Tigran Balayan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Turkish press wrote about possibility of Nalbandian's visit to
Istanbul. Today's Zaman reported that Turkish officials said although
they had not received any official confirmation from Nalbandian's
office, they would be pleased if the Armenian foreign minister accepted
the invitation.
The BSEC meeting is scheduled for June 26.
