'CONTACTS WITH ARMENIA POSSIBLE ONLY AFTER IT WITHDRAWS FROM OCCUPIED LANDS'

Ankara is interested in improvement of ties with all its neighbors,
Minister says.
The contacts with Armenia can be established only after it demonstrates
respect towards peace in the Caucasus and withdraws from the occupied
Azerbaijani lands.
According to AzerTaj, speaking at the Grand National Assembly of
Turkey, the Foreign Minister of this country Ahmet Davutoglu said
that the main aim of the trilateral session of the foreign ministers
of Turkey, Azerbaijan and Turkey to be held in Trabzon on 8 June is
establishing peace in the South Caucasus.
According to the minister, Ankara is interested in improvement of
ties with all its neighbors.
"Despite all obstacles, the relations with Armenia can be restored
after it demonstrates respect towards peace in the Caucasus and its
withdrawal fro the occupied Azerbaijani lands", Davutoglu said.
Answering deputies' questions, the foreign minister dismissed
statements of tensions between Turkey and neighbor states.
"Thus, within the framework of cooperation, we have close ties with
Azerbaijan, Russia, Ukraine and Bulgaria", he said.
